We will be hiking the Goldfinch Trail, winding through woodlands and wetlands along the Fox River. Bald eagles and osprey are usually patrolling the waterways, and some stands of tall pines attract nuthatches. A blue grosbeak has been in residence for several months and might still be heard singing.
