Open Space Celebration Invitation - Sunday, October 15

An invitation from the Green Corridor Coalition:

It’s the time of year again for our next Open Space Celebration, hosted by the Green Corridor Coalition.
Join us on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, as we celebrate beautiful Lake County’s protected Open Space. This year, we will be at Heron Creek Forest Preserve - Shelter B. Heron Creek Forest Preserve is located at 22890 N. Old McHenry Rd., Long Grove, IL 60047. The event begins at 12 pm.
The celebration will feature group hikes for adults and children, free food, and a rally with elected officials and local environmental champions. The campaign to protect the Lake County Greenway is stronger than ever. RSVP for the Open Space Celebration to learn more!
